"Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt."  -The Bard

I have never doubted my ability to learn and teach others, but I had to make a committment to becoming fearless when I started my own business. In November 2007, I turned a hobby into a business when I sold my first article for profit. What followed next has been a wonderful surprise in finally running a successful home business, that uses every ounce of my talents.

EDUCATION

I graduated from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA in May 2006. Armed with a degree in Political Science, Leadership Studies, and extensive minor course work in English, I jumped right into Corporate America. During my tenure at CNU, I was heavily involved with student politics and the school newspaper.

WORK EXPERIENCE

After my Federal Work Study, providing administrative support to the President's Leadership Program, ended in 2002 I joined a temporary administrative assistant firm to finance my education. For 5 years, I was a true renaissance woman , pinch hitting at non-profit organizations, engineering firms, and real estate offices. I left each assignment with more robust computer files and paper filing systems than when I arrived. Starting a new assignment had the same exhiliration of the first day of school-- a feeling I still get everytime I begin a new writing project.

VALUES

I value honesty, responsibility, and kindness above all else. I learned my customer service skills from the geniuses at Walt Disney World, and use them everyday. I don't want to just provide incredible written copy, I want my clients and customers to enjoy working with me as a freelance professional. My mission is to elevate the quality of work available to clients from an e-lancer, and provide a little literary magic whenever possible.

Always Smiling,
